Amy's 21st Birthday |

Oh, those heady days when we lived and worked in Baden-Württemberg, the Land of many Feiertagen, and wealthiest in Germany! We certainly proved that the night of Amey's 21st birthday at their flat,
sponsored by Bosch, in the burbs of Stuttgart. Some travelled afar to come to the party, some from
just the next room! It was of course a 60's & 70's party night which proved to be entertaining in
itself with a certain male member of the Bosch household dressing up in a skirt borrowed from Carolyn,
who very generously lent it despite never having worn it herself ! I believe she has not worn it at all
now as it was somewhat out of shape of its return to her. Karaoke was enjoyed by all; more so the further we got through the 74 litres of beer (amongst other things)! I think I was the first to get up and sing and those of you who know me will know that my singing voice is not good! But I did look the part. I borrowed a long leather coat and got nicknamed Helga, not sure how flattering that was! Some of us, well, namely me, did not end up sleeping in my allocated space on the floor of Amey's room that night but on the far comfier pile of coats in the hall! Well, that was after several shots of whiskey on top of copious amounts of alcohol already drunk. I believe we all made some new friends that night some got more friendly than others (whoops!). Laura to this day I can't remember talking to you the whole evening. I think we were both otherwise occupied, the pictures came out well though! Amey, I think, enjoyed her party. It was a complete surprise to her that so many were there and that we'd all make the effort to look the part but who doesn't enjoy a good p***-*p! And yes, the local polizei were called several times by the friendly neighbours! Just have one more thing to say: the beer still tasted good the next morning! by Penny.
