We're Getting Married !

Part 1: We're getting Married


		After nearly nine years we are finally taking the big step - we're getting married. Nobody (probably including ourselves) ever understood how we managed to stay together during all these years I studied and travelled but we did.

Once I proposed in September 1998 it still took us more than a year to decide about time and place, but now all is set. The 'Polterabend' (yes, we all do speak German) will be on August 19th this year. The 'standesamtliche Trauung' will be on August 25th and the church wedding including the big party will be on August 26th.

	Of course it will all take place in Bremen, as we both were born there and still have many friends and above all family living in Bremen. (Read all about what happened this historic day in August 2000 by following this link)

	Oh, and for all of you that remember Tom (webmaster of this little site in the depth of the www) will be my best man. Let us hope that he manages to produce a little less chaos than Hugh Grant. @rni
